Of South Africa’s top ten restaurants, three are in Franschhoek and there is a choice of more than 30 different places to wine and dine.

The valley is also the idyllic setting for walking trails, hiking, cycling, bird watching, horse riding and fly-fishing. Golfing enthusiasts are well catered for with several championship golf courses close by.

There are six luxurious rooms, three superior doubles which open onto private patio gardens and three suites, two of which have their own semi-private pools. All have large en-suite bathrooms.

Breakfasts are a speciality offering a wide choice of interesting fare and are inclusive, as are all beverages. Dinners and lunches are available by arrangement. An in-house chauffeur service is available to guests for restaurant transfers or tailored tours to the highlights of Cape Town.
