What happens when we arrive in Seronera and how do we get to the Siringit Serengeti Camp?
In Seronera, you will be met by your Siringit safari guide in the Siringit open luxury vehicle. The Siringit Serengeti Camp by Mantis is only 6KM from the Seronera airstrip. The journey from the airstrip to the camp may take 20 minutes or longer depending on how much wildlife you spot along the way. There is always something fascinating and captivating to see on safari; a spectacular bird, your first sighting of a herd of Elephants migrating to the marshes for their lunchtime thirst quench, or the twitching tail of a Leopard lazing in a Sausage Tree. You will find yourselves captivated and alive breathing in the natural scents of wilderness and the remote endless plains of the Serengeti from your safari vehicle.
Siringit Serengeti Camp is pleased to reassure you of the COVID_19 protocols implemented at the camp to ensure your stay with us will be safe. All Siringit employees will be wearing masks for the duration of your stay. The butlers and housekeepers will wear gloves when handling your luggage or preparing the rooms. On arrival at the camp, your bags will be disinfected, your temperature will be taken and Fred, the camp manager, will guide you to the lounge tent, where you will be offered a refreshing welcome drink. Fred will invite you into the tent for camp briefing and registration.
Fred will introduce you to the area, its uniqueness, the wildlife, and your safety whilst in camp. The Siringit Serengeti Camp is a remote exclusive safari destination, located in the heart of Serengeti National Park, and it overlooks the spectacular wild expanse of the Seronera plains. Wildlife is literally on your doorstep. It is possible to see Giraffe, Gazelle, Impala, Wildebeest, Zebra (when the migration passes through the camp), or a family of Mongoose foraging for tasty beetles, from the verandah of your tent.
We have renewed our commitment to community, conservation and sustainability. We invite you to become part of our family, be as elusive as Leopards, be awakened by our remote properties, which are designed with elegance and simplicity, to give you a sanctuary retreat in the wilderness of Tanzania.
