Mantis, together with other industry leaders, has recently celebrated the 27th annual World Travel Awards.
Instead of the traditional gathering at the World Travel Awards Africa Gala Ceremony, winners were united virtually to accept their awards.
It was during this auspicious virtual event that Mantis was presented with the award for Africa’s Leading Boutique Hotel Brand 2020. Two flagship hospitality offerings under the Mantis Collection also received top accolades as Africa’s Leading River Cruise Company 2020: Zambezi Queen Collection by Mantis and Nigeria’s Leading City Hotel 2020: The Envoy by Mantis.
World Travel Awards states that despite the incredible challenges faced by our industry over the course of 2020, this year’s World Travel Awards nomination programme has reported record visitor traffic and engagement from the public voter (the all-important tourism consumer). This shows that as the global recovery begins, the appetite for tourism has never been as keen and offers hope and much-needed encouragement to us all.
With the rising demand for future travel, comes a notable trend from the consumer to seek out and book the very best tourism products from across the world. As we look to the future, this trend is why winning a World Travel Award this year, has never been more valuable to the Mantis Team.
Watch Mantis CEO, Paul Gardiner, say a few words about this year’s award received.
