Where Extraordinary Experiences Nurture Conservation and Enrich Communities
At Mantis we recognise that every interaction with our guests, our environment and our local communities is an opportunity to make a positive impact.
At Mantis we recognise that every interaction with our guests, our environment and our local communities is an opportunity to make a positive impact. We deliver luxury hospitality but never at the expense of our planet. Our legacy is built on acknowledging that operating in pristine and remote destinations carries huge responsibility. Africa is rich in biodiversity with high numbers of endemic species – many of which are threatened. The gravity of the situation is not lost on us, which is why we strive to be agents of change.
Throughout our footprint, guests enjoy luxury hospitality, while experiencing living the Mantis Mantra: Man and Nature Together Is Sustainable. Whether it is sustainable food gardens, recycling, energy efficient power, greening the community or rewilding, our properties and projects promote eco-tourism and sustainability.
We understand that everything we do has an effect – an impact … that’s why we’re committed to exploring ways to educate and inspire others about conservation and sustainability, wherever possible. We aspire to do better, to be credible and authentic by doing what we can to reduce our ecological footprint and to encourage others to join us in making a positive impact on the world.
